REUBEN H. ANDREW
ARLINGTON, Dec. 31. - Reuben H. Andrew, 83, a life-long resident of this community, died at 2:30 today (Sunday) at the home of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Fanny Buck in East Arlington.
Born here June 14, 1856 he was the son of the late Nathan and Martha Andrew, he received his education in Arlington schools. He married in June, 1881, and in 1931 observed a 50th wedding anniversary with the late Anna F. Andrew.
He was a member of the St. James' Episcopal church serving for many years in the vestry and as junior warden. Mr. Andrew was associated with the Red Mountain lodge, F. & A.M. for 52 years and was a charter member of the Red Mountain chapter, O.E.S.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Norman H. Marsden of Rutland, two sons, Roy M. Andrew of Mercersburg, Pa. and Edward H. Andrew of Watertown, Mass., and a brother, George N. Andrew of Northampton, Mass. He also leaves six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Wednesday from St. James' church, Rev. Philip Fifer, pastor officiating, assisted by Rev. George R. Brush. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
