Adelaide H. Karbon, 93,
of Oconto, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 at Woodlands Nursing Home, Oconto.

Adelaide was born April 9, 1921 in Oconto to the late Thomas and Mayme (Chezek) LeMay. She married Joseph "Sonny" Karbon on October 31, 1938 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Oconto. He preceded her in death on March 13, 1979. Adelaide enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish and St. Annes Society.

Adelaide is survived by a daughter, Judith (Roger) Michalski, Peshtigo; four sons, James Karbon, Milwaukee; Ronald (Laurie) Karbon, Peshtigo; Michael Karbon, Milwaukee; Robert (Bonnie) Karbon, Oconto; son-in-law, Tom Grooms, Milwaukee; brother-in-law, Clarence Frewerd, Oconto; thirteen grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by two daughters Barbara Grooms, Joan Marie Karbon and two infant children, a granddaughter Jesselyn Karbon, a great granddaughter Tabitha Hanrahan, two sisters, Blanche Foelker, May Rose Frewerd, and three brothers Art, Tom and Mike LeMay.

Burial will be at the Oconto Catholic Cemetery.
