Daniel W. Sexton, 64, of Alliance, passed away at 9:10 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2014, at Canton Health Care Center. He was born June 19, 1949, in Alliance to Thomas and Dorothy E. (Friedman) Sexton and lived in Alliance most of his life.

Danny was a 1967 graduate of Central Catholic High School in Canton and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Alliance. He served our country in the U.S. Army after graduating from high school.

Mr. Sexton was a member of the Knights of Columbus No. 657 and enjoyed boxing in his younger years.

Danny is survived by his sister, Mary Ann Anderson of Alliance; two nieces, Natalie (Mark) Drakulich and Claudette Anderson; four nephews, Dean Wolford, Dan Anderson, Mark Anderson and Matt Anderson; two great-nieces, Sarah and Rachel Drakulich; and three great-nephews, Steven Drakulich, Evan Anderson and Ethan Lucas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Colette Wolford; and a brother, Thomas Sexton Jr.

Interment at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
