Christopher David Childers of El Campo, Texas, passed away Friday, April 11, 2014. Chris is survived by his daughter Hannah Childers, spouse Christi Childers, mother Nancy Henderson Pfardrescher, father Bud Childers and wife Pam; sister Rachel, her husband Chip Hawkins and children Reid and Hill of Kosciusko, Mississippi; brother Jason Childers, his spouse Maria and children Makenzie, Mason and Matthew Hamilton of Bay City, Texas.

Chris served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Harper from September 8, 1992, to September 7, 1996. He served as an HT3 (Hull Technician 3rd class). He was a well-respected engineering consultant within the international oilfield industry both onshore and offshore.

Chris loved and enjoyed his family, friends and all things outdoors. His passions included fishing,hunting, and metal and leather work. He will be missed by all.
