Don Albert Rose passed away March 1, 2008 at his residence in St. George due to cancer. Born January 25, 1937 in Lakeshore, Utah to Albert Leo and LaVera Graves Rose.
He married Connie Glazier on May 30, 1955 in Spanish Fork, Utah. She died on January 30, 2003. Later married JoAnn Jean Clark on January 12, 2008 in Salt Lake City.
Don served his country honorably in the US Navy and the Army National Guard. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local #3 for approximately 35 years. He loved the outdoors, riding ATV's, fishing and boating with his family. He looked forward to the yearly reunion held over several days with his brothers, sisters and extended family.
Survived by his wife; children Janet (Glen) Smith, Don L. Rose, Rodney Rose, Melvin Rose, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; brothers Blair & Dale Rose; sisters Ellen, Aliene & Dee. Preceded in death by son, Martin Dean Rose and brothers Lawrence and Ray and sister Beth.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 6, 2008, 11:00 am at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy (10600 So.) where friends may call Wed. from 6 8 pm and Thurs. from 10 10:45 am. Interment American Fork Cemetery. Online condolences: www.jenkins-soffe.com
