Parents: Lawrence and Maude (Hall) Miller Kreps
Spouse: Walter Sommer-May 30, 1951-married in Oregon, Mo. He died Sept 1, 2004.

Bio: Mrs. Sommers graduated from Hopkins High School in 1939. After marriage, she and Walter moved from St. Joseph to rural Oregon in 1968, then moved to Savannah in 1993.
She retired from the First National Bank, St. Joseph, in 1977. She was a member of the Oregon United Methodist Church, Better Homes and Garden Club, Holt County Extension Club and United Methodist Women's Fellowship.

Death: Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at the Living Community, St. Joseph, Mo., at the age of 85.

Preceded in death by: Natural parents, Lawrence and Maude Kreps, her adoptive parents, Charley and Della Flowers, who raised her; a son, Richard Beazley; a brother, Charles Miller; two half sisters, Betty Morgan and Elizabeth Dukes; and a half brother, Galen Kreps.

Survived by: two half sisters, Alice Cross and Donna Riley of Hopkins.
