Margaret M. Patterson WEST WINDSOR - Margaret M. Patterson, 101, of West Windsor, passed away peacefully at the Hamilton Continuing Care Center on Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Trenton, she lived on the family farm in Perrineville for 16 years. She was a longtime resident of the West Windsor area. Mrs. Patterson graduated from the St. Francis School of Nursing in 1931. After graduation, she continued to work for St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton as a registered nurse. She was a former member of the St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Perrineville, NJ and most recently attended St. Gregory the Great R.C. Church in Hamilton, NJ. She was an active member in the Nursing Association and the alumni dinner for the association. Daughter of the late Howard Sr. and Anna Allen; wife of the late James Patterson; and sister of the late Katherine Allen, Howard Allen, Winfield Allen and Elizabeth Buckley, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Sonja Patterson of West Windsor; her granddaughter, Leslie and her husband, Eric Rodriguez; her great-grandson, Scott Rodriguez, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will begin on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ 08690. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Perrineville, NJ 08535.
