Sharon Ann Clapsaddle
Sharon Ann Clapsaddle Brewer, 69, of east Toledo, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg. Sharon was born to Marion and Clara (Locke) Clapsaddle on August 24, 1944. She was the second of four children. She met the love of her life, Joe T. Brewer, when she was 16 years old and they married when she was 18. No one thought it would last, but they enjoyed 42 years of marriage before his death on April 25, 2004.
In addition to her husband, Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Archie Abbitt; brother, Dick Clapsaddle; sister, Carol Ellis, and brother-in-law, Mel Wishon. She is survived by her devoted sister, Nancy Wishon; brother-in-law, Dennis Ellis; nieces and nephews, including Nancy (Mark) Murphy, Denny Ellis, Gretchen (Steve) Lutes, Matt (Shawna) Wishon, and many great-nieces and nephews; Gretchen's children and Matt's children, along with many friends and loved ones; Buck, Louie, and Samantha Simon brought special joy to her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury and where her funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Sharon's memory are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
