"MR. CHEVALLEY'S FUNERAL
----
The funeral of Mr. E. R. Chevalley, yesterday forenoon, was attended by a large concourse of sorrowing relatives, friends and acquaintances of the deceased and his bereaved family. In this gathering was a large number of representative citizens from every walk in life, whose presence testified the high esteem in which Mr. Chevalley had been held. The funeral service at the house, corner of Camp and General Taylor streets, was performed by Rev. J. P. Quinius, pastor of the German Evangelical Protestant church. The remains were consigned to their last resting place in the Carrollton cemetery. The following named gentlemen served as pallbearers: Messrs. E. Howard McCaleb, B. T. Walshe, Henry Zeiler, B. M. Turnbull, H. R. Arbo and Felix Leche."
