Mrs. French worked for forty-five years on Front Street in the Cotton Industry back when “Cotton Was King”. She is survived by her loving niece and nephew, Janet (Butch) Wroten, and Jimmy Clark; great-nephew and niece, J. B. Clark and Jessica Clark Fisher; great-great nieces and nephew, Reed, Scarlett, and Shea; her companion and caregiver, Earline Duncan; step-daughters, Elaine (Walter) Allen and Ellen (Tony) Barbaro; 4 step-grandchildren, and 7 step great-grandchildren and her sweet puppy dog, Alice.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, April 27, at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery.
