Kay Lynn (Armstrong) Herrold, 79, of Greenwood passed away April 20, 2014. She was born January 3, 1935 in Franklin, Indiana to Homer and Frances E. (Sefton) Armstrong. Kay attended Franklin College and Purdue University and was employed as a secretary at VASA Insurance Agency for many years. She was also a member of the Greenwood United Methodist Church and a member and past president of Greenwood Coterie. She was a wonderful mother and loyal friend who valued love and laughter above all else.
Kay is survived by her daughter Alison Jean Herrold, Lakeport, CA; grandson Iain Rhys Sciocchetti, Lakeport, CA; and brother Norman L. Armstrong of Southern California. She is preceded in passing by a daughter, Whitney Ann Herrold, and her parents.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, graveside at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
