Obituary
Louis K. Bradford died last Saturday
at his home 111 Court street, aged
64 years. Mr. Bradford was a native
of Plymouth, a son of the late Lewis
G. and Louisa (Allen) Bradford. He
was a machinist by trade and for
years was employed in the plant of
the Bradford Joint Co., which manufact-
ured a bedstead joint invented by his
father. He was employed for a long
time in the machine shop of the Plymouth
Mills. In later years he had led a re-
tired life, but was out and about, tak-
ing a live interest in the doings of
the day and having a strong liking for
the water front and the Plymouth Yacht
Club. He leaves a widow who was before
marriage, Miss Almira Holmes, daughter
of Winslow Holmes of this town. There
are three sons, John, Louis and James
Bradford and two daughters, Miss E.
Louise and May Bradford. Besides his
family he is survived by two sisters,
misses Fanny and Alice Bradford who
reside here. Mr. Bradford was a brother
of Mayflower Lodge, No. 54, I O. O. F.,
Accomack Tribe, No. 155 I. O. R. M.,
and the Plymouth Mutual Benefit Assoc-
iation. Funeral services were held in
his late home Monday afternoon at 2:30,
Rev. Charles P. Marshall officiating,
and interment was made in Oak Grove cemetery.
