Mr. Ronald Wayne Baker, Sr., 62, a resident of 319 Big Jon Rd. died Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the home of his brother. He was born on October 15, 1951 in Forsyth County, NC to Alton Lee Baker and Mattie Hardy Baker. He was a resident of Davidson County for most of his life and was a former dairy farmer and was last employed with Component Concepts. He was a member of Kennedy Road Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Joshua King Baker; three brothers, Bobby Lee Baker, Curry Lee Baker, and Thomas Henry Baker; and a sister, Doris Ann Baker Haga. Surviving are a daughter, CeCe Baker of Modesto, CA; son, Ronald Wayne Baker, Jr. of Fair Bluff, NC; three brothers, Jimmy Lee Baker of Thomasville, Kenneth Randall Baker and wife Sherry of Thomasville, and Billy Ray Baker and wife Sandra of Lexington; and a sister, Kathy McIntyre of Lexington. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Kennedy Road Baptist Church with Rev. David Price officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
