Betty Jo Pilant Boling - age 77 of Strawberry Plains passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014. Member of Holston Memorial Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, James C. Boling; parents, William and Mary Pilant; brother, Billy Pilant. Survived by "my loving children" son, Scott Boling and wife Amy; daughters, Cathy Dickerson and husband Tony, Sharon Green and husband Jackie; best friends, Cecil and Betty Lee, Sue Boling, Wanda Forrester and Maxine Dail; my special niece, Stephanie; special grandchildren, Jamie Dickerson and wife Stacy, Elisha Brown husband Keith, Patty Edwards and husband Jeremey, Noah and Katie Boling; special great grandchildren, Ashley and Haley Brown, Olivia and Dylan Dickerson and Elijah Edwards. A special thanks to Fort Sanders 2N and ICU. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Thursday at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Beeler and Rev. Arthur Pedigo officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 AM on Friday at Eastview Memorial Gardens for a 11:00 AM interment. The family will receive friends Thursday April 24, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike.
