Georgia Stowe Hopkins, age 92, of 123 Cheeks Lane, passed away on Friday May 3, 2013, at Home Place Assisted Living in Burlington, N.C.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden, N.C. with burial to follow at Reynolds Family Cemetery in Stuart, Va.
Mrs. Hopkins was born Oct. 19, 1920, in the Draper section of Eden to the late George William Stowe and Nannie Mae Hall Stowe.
She was of the Primitive Baptist faith and was a homemaker.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mallie Hopkins; daughter, Susie Vernon; and grandson, Steven Allred.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 until 2 p.m. Monday at Fair Funeral Home.
