Randolph Franklin "Frankie" Wood Jr., 35, of Schuyler, died Thursday, April 17, 2014, as the result of an automobile accident. He was born on December 23, 1978, in Charlottesville, the son of Randolph Franklin Wood and the late Charlotte Becky (Loving) Wood. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lillian Lucille Loving. Frankie will always be remembered for his love of the outdoors. He loved farming, hunting, fishing, and we will never forget how much he loved John Deere Tractors and Ford Trucks. He is survived by his father Randy Wood of Schuyler; two sisters, Becky Ann Payne and husband, Joey, of Dillwyn, and Pam Johnson and husband, Greg, of Fluvanna; a special aunt and uncle, Joyce and Doug Wyant; a niece, Becky Jo Payne; three nephews, Adam Johnson and wife, Lisa, Cory Johnson, and Matt Payne; four great-nieces, Karley Johnson and Kylie, Klaire, and Kaidyn McFadden; three special cousins, Tammy Johnson, who was like a sister to Frankie, and Andy and Robby Wyant; a number of extended family; and friends including special friends, Tommy Wells, Earl Morris, Dwayne Ragland, Keith McCauley and Jack Saunders. A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Thacker Brothers Scottsville Funeral Home by the Reverend Harlan Sykes. Interment will follow at Alberene Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to his father
