Mr. Sharp was a farmer and sawmill worker. He was a member of New Hope Church of the Brethren.
Born at Frost February 24, 1915, he was the son of the late Austin J. and Icie Shrader Sharp.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Goldie Jane Sharp, two sons, Howard and Hubert Miller, and three brothers, Styrl Sharp, Neal Sharp, and Dale Sharp.
Surviving him are six daughters, Carol Spade and Hilda Sharp, both of Frost, Jane Deulley, of Colliers, Phyllis Ernest, of Wellsburg, Alberta Moyers, of Monterey, Virginia, and Eula Sosebee, of Orange, Virginia; three sons, James Miller, of Spotsylvania, Virginia, Carl Miller, of Fairfield, Virginia, and Bob Miller, of Orange, Virginia; twenty-nine grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren, and twenty-eight great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at VanReenen Funeral Home by the Rev. David Rittenhouse, with burial in Mountain View Cemetery.
