Kelly Nichole Maynard, 25 formerly of Peru, IN passed away at 3:00 AM, Friday, April 18, 2014 at her residence in Indianapolis. She was born in Kokomo on November 10, 1988 the daughter of George D. and Laura Mikolajczyk Maynard.
Kelly graduated from Peru High School in 2007 and from Ivy Tech in 2013. She also attended IUPUI. Kelly was a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church and was employed as a server at Season's "52" in Indianapolis.
She was an adored daughter, cherished sister and deeply devoted friend. Her tender and loving heart brought joy to those blessed to share in her life. The loss of such beautiful soul is truly immeasurable.
She is survived by her mother, Laura Maynard of Peru, her father George D. Maynard of Bonita Springs, FL, her maternal grandmother Sophia Mikolajczyk of Toledo, Ohio, her paternal grandmother Doris Maynard of Peru, her sisters Chrystal Maynard of Warsaw, Brittany Maynard of Toledo, Ohio, and Lisa Maynard of Peru and a brother Christopher Maynard of Indianapolis.
A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Kelly Nichole Maynard will be held at 10:30 AM. Thursday, April 24, 2014 at the St. Charles Catholic Church, 58 W. 5th St., Peru, with Reverend Eric Underwood officiating. Family and friends will gather from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main Street, Peru. There will be a prayer service Wednesday at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
