Funeral of Henry Higgins.
The funeral of Henry A. Higgins, aged 82, who died at Allegany Hospital from the effects of a broken hip sustained in a fall in the hallway of his home, December 27, was held this morning from St. Patrick's Church with burial in the church cemetery. Mr. Higgins served in Company G, Seventh Virginia Cavalry, Confederate Army, during the Civil War and was a member of James Breathed Camp, No. 1046, United Confederate Veterans. Besides his wife he is survived by the following children: Harry A. Higgins, this city; Mrs. W. G. Mack, Youngstown, Ohio, and Misses Fannie and Rose Higgins. Mr. Higgins was a member of the Holy Name Society.
