Leola J. Gray Wire, 67, Sheridan, died September 27, 2001, in Riverview Hospital, Noblesville.
Mrs. Wire was a 1952 graduate of Kirklin High School. She was a member of Christian Liberty Church, Boone County.
Mrs. Wire was born August 21, 1934, to Cecil Earl and Laurel Luella (Cochran) Gray. She married Marion K. Wire on May 19, 1951, and he survives.
Also surviving are two sons Scott Christopher of Nobleville and Bryan Keith of Frankfort; two daughters, Pamela J. Ferguson of Frankfort and Belinda H. Roark of Sheridan; four brothers, Robert and Clyde, both of El Paso, Texas, and Larry and Jack, both of Phoenix, Arizona; two sisters, Mary Eskew of Arkansas and Sharon Jones of Kirklin; two granddaughters and one great grandson.
Two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Kercheval Funeral Home, Sheridan, with the Rev. Frank Ciampa officiating.
Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery, Frankfort.
