James "Jim" M. Didier, 69, of Fort Wayne, owner of Didier Meats, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000. Devoted family man, father and friend."The Fort Wayne native was a eucharistic minister at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church for 25 years and loved to read and watch documentaries. Surviving are his wife, Carol A.; a son, Robert J. of Fort Wayne; daughters Donna Striker, Denise Roy, Nanette Bull, Michele Welklin, Sharon Dennie and Angela Karapantos, all of Fort Wayne, Kath4yn Vohs, and Mary Ann Smith.
Note: (Medical):Cause of death was a gunshot. He was shot by Damien Harris during armed robbery of Didier Meats on February 21. 2000. He died three days later. Harris was convicted of felony murder on 5/15/2003.
