Gene "Sparky" Berry , age 76 of Port Royal, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at the Green Valley Health and Rehab Center. He was the son of the late John D. and Mary T. (Mertz) Berry.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Ogburn) Berry, Port Royal; two daughters: Donna (Berry) Oullette and Susie (Berry) Boyer, both of Port Royal; and one son, Mike Berry, Port Royal.
Funeral services were at 11 am Tuesday, Oct. 30, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Bro. Carroll McAlister, pastor of Calvery Full Gospel Church officiated. Interment was in Port Royal Cemetery.
