Carolyn Faye Cochran, age 63 of Rock Falls died Saturday, April 19, 2014, at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison.
Faye was born April 29, 1950 in Sterling the daughter of Willie and Mary Wade Cochran.
Faye worked as a dietary aid for many years. Faye enjoyed scratching off $3 Crossword puzzles, watching TV, and making her "famous" pasta salad. Faye was an avid Chicago Bulls fan, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her soul-mate Julio Garcia, Sr., one daughter Julie (Timothy) Denning, one son Cody Robnett, one step-daughter Charity Guzman, one step-son Julio Garcia, Jr., three sisters Sandy (Ed Martinez) Williamson, Pat (Richard) Williamson, and Helen (Jack) Crow, three brothers Earl (Brooke) Cochran, Barry (Brenda) Cochran, Willie (Donna) Cochran, two half-brothers Bill Wade, and William Cochran, and 11 grandchildren Austin, Kayden, Emily, Alyssa, Ethan, Roland, Zenobia, Julio III, Tasha, Neysha, and Josh, and two great grandchildren Julivette, and Cinda, and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, twin sister, grandson Gaige, and niece Jennifer Smith.
Visitation will be from 10-11 AM, Friday, April 25, 2014 at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. Funeral service will be at 11 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Dalmus Meeks officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
