Born Sept. 24, 1940, in Burlington, she was the daughter of the late Alfred James and Lila Mae (Aldrich) Davis.
Louise enjoyed flower gardening, cooking big meals for her family, reading, shopping, scrap booking, photography and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors are her children, Debra Brouillard of Rochester; Marilyn Prouty of Cornwall; Dawn Murray of Rochester; Alan Murray of Georgia; Carl Murray of Bristol; and Eric Murray of East Middlebury; her brothers, Larry Davis and Fred Davis of Poultney; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Robert Davis.
A private family graveside service will be held Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Prospect Cemetery in East Middlebury, with the Rev. Robert Borden officiating.
Family and friends are invited to join us for a Celebration of Life at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Eric and Erika Murray's residence in East Middlebury.
