CARL B. CARLSON of 150 Abell Ave., Solvay, died at his home yesterday following a long illness.
Born in Sweden, he had lived in Solvay many years. He was a retired foreman in the Wire Mill of Sanderson-Halcomb Steel Co. He was a member of Salt Springs Lodge F&AM 520, a member of Central City Consistory; a member of the Scottish Rite; the Masonic Veterans, the Sanderson-Halcomb retired employees club, a member of the First English Lutheran Church, a member of the Lyron Society.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. E. Wesley Smith and Mrs. Gabriel Nagy Jr.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the John C. Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W. Genesee St., the Rev. Dr. Frank Shimer, officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friends wishing may contribute to the Asbury Church memorial fund or the First English Lutheran memorial fund.
