Born June 13, 1927, in Freedom, to Mary (Barnick) Fedyski and George Postupac, she was sister to Helen (Postupac) Young (deceased), George Postupac of New Brighton, Ann Postupac of Zelienople and Patricia (Fedyski) Ankney of Monterey, Tennessee. She is also survived by three daughters, Barbara Ann Anderson (James Ronald) of Bay Village, Ohio, Merry Jane Hudascek (Joseph, deceased) of Little River, South Carolina, and Nancy Lynn Baur (Joseph) in Ingram, Pennsylvania, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Monaca. She volunteered countless hours for more than 30 years at Friendship Ridge (formerly the Geriatric Center). In 1996, she was named Geriatric Volunteer of the Year in the State of Pennsylvania.
Mary was a devoted wife and mother, generous in heart and spirit, a true servant of our Lord and Savior who will be sorely missed by family and friends.
Visitation will be today, May 17, 2011, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, (724-728-4000).
Funeral services will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Monaca at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2011.
Burial will be at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Villa St. Joseph, 1030 State Street, Baden, PA 15005 or First Presbyterian Church of Monaca, 1301 Indiana Avenue, Monaca, PA 15061.
