Clayton William Carter, age 69, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014. Clayton was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville.
He retired from the Marietta Bread Company over 30 years of service.
Clayton is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sue Carter, son; Eddie Carter, daughter; Sue Ann Webb (Derek), brothers; R.D. Carter and Randy Carter, sisters; Sadie Polk and Dora Carter, three grandchildren; Evan, Gavin, and Ashlan, best friend and beloved dog Buddy.
Funeral services will be held, Wednesday April 23, 2014 at 11:00AM in the chapel of FRASER FUNERAL HOME, 8168 Normandy Blvd. Jacksonville, FL. with Gordon Gunter officiating followed by interment in Long Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Fraser Funeral Home one hour prior to service.
