Mary "Bernice" Espinoza, 74, born July 20, 1939, went to be with the Lord and family on April 19, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gil and Eva Vigil; in-laws, Fermin and Maria Espinoza; husband of 53 years, Manuel A. Espinoza; son, Manuel Joseph; daughter, Diane; as well as several brothers, sisters and in-laws. Bernice is survived by her children, Arty (June) Espinoza, Susan (Chris) Guokas, David (Angel) Espinoza, Vincent (Jennifer) Espinoza; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Jenny Atencio; brother, Art Vigil; and numerous other relatives and many friends. Bernice was an avid Denver Broncos fan. She loved to go camping and fishing and having big family dinners at her home. She was a godsend to everyone she came into contact with and she loved to dance. Most important to her was spending time with her family; she was a caring and loving mother and will be greatly missed by all. A viewing will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, at Imperial Funeral Home. Rosary, 9:30 a.m. Thursday, with funeral Mass to follow at 10 a.m., both at St. Mary Catholic Church, with interment to follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens.
