He worked as a polisher and plater for AMSCO for many years and was their oldest retiree and a member of the AMSCO Quarter Century Club. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was an avid golfer and once scored a hole in one.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Serfozo Klein; a sister, Madeline Dudenhoeffer; and three brothers, Robert, Richard and Carl Klein.
He is survived by three sons, Kenneth Klein, Charles Klein and his wife Laurie, all of Erie, and Christopher J. Klein and his wife, Barbara, of Pittsburgh; three sisters, Charlotte Sertz, Marianne Straub and Lenore Pearson, all of Erie; a brother, Frank Klein of Erie; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
