James Byford Seaton III, 16, of Casa Grande, died on April 13, 2014 at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center, of injuries sustained in a traffic accident.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. The scripture service will be begin at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with the Rev. John Arnold officiating.

Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Seaton was born on Sept. 19, 1997, in Casa Grande. He loved football and started playing with the Bull Dogs, later continuing at Casa Grande Union High School, and was a running back. He was a member of DECA and, like many teenage boys, enjoyed shooting guns with his father and fighting with his brother and sister.

Survivors include his father, James B. Seaton, of Casa Grande; his mother, Krystal Williams, of Casa Grande; a brother, Jose Seaton, of Casa Grande; a sister, Jennifer Williams, of Casa Grande; and grandparents, Timothy and Bonnie Stanford, of Casa Grande, Julia Ruiz, of Stanfield, Otis Williams, of Texas and Mary Mayerhoffer, of Casa Grande.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, June Moskwa(117936464).
