Edward Posey, age 87, of Cleveland, Alabama passed away at Brookwood Medical Center on April 20, 2014. Born in Blount County, he was the son of the late Edd and Ida Blair Posey. He is also preceded in death by wife, Gloria Boren Posey, sister, Alma Posey Woods and brothers, Staford Posey, Dan Posey and Sam Posey.
Mr. Posey retired from PEMCO Aeroplex after 40 years of service. He was a member of the Dry Creek Masonic Lodge of Cleveland and a member of the UAW. He was of the Baptist faith.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 2PM from Nectar First Congregational Methodist Church with burial following in the adjoining cemetery.
