Countey, Brian Gregory "Bud", 21 of Waterford, WI, passed away on October 1, 2013 in Stanley, NC. Brian was born April 17, 1992 to John and Diane Countey in Derry NH. At the age of 3 Brian's family moved to Waterford, WI where he was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and graduated from Waterford Union High School.
Brian was a student at MSOE where he was majoring in computer software engineering. He was a self-taught computer whiz, loved to play the guitar, photography and the outdoors.
Brian is survived by his mother Diane (Craig Trier) Countey, father John (Michele Hogan) Countey, sister Haley Countey, grandmother Irene Countey, grandmother Marcia Bartz, grandfather Wayne Bartz, Godfather Greg Bartz and Godmother Barbara Countey. He is further survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.
Brian was preceded in death by his sister Brialle and his grandfather Robert Countey, SGT-USAF Retired.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church 305 South First Street, Waterford, WI 53185. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 7, 2013 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mealy Funeral Home 255 West Main Street, Waterford, WI 53185, and again on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
