She was a graduate of St Agnes Hospital School of Nursing in Baltimore.
She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church; and Conococheague Chapter N.P.S.D.A.R. She organized the Jonathan Hager Society of C.A.R. She was past matron of Queen Esther Chapter No 3, Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by a daughter, Merle Belle Sowers, Hagerstown; son, Richard B Snyder, Hagerstown; sister, Bertha Routzahn, Lighthouse Point, Fla; and 2 grandsons.
Services will be held at Andrew K Coffman Funeral Home. The Rev Lamar W Kopp will officiate; burial in Rest Haven Cemetery.
