White River Jct., VT - David A. Ring, 61, born November 2, 1952, passed away Saturday night April 19, 2014 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH, surrounded by friends and family.

He was born to the late Sybil Wallace Ring and Eugene Ring. The Upper Valley was home to "Dave" all of his life. He graduated from Hartford High School in 1971. Working in the automotive industry was his field of choice, which lead to starting, owning and running his own business, Tip Top Tire and Wilder Auto in White River Jct., where he worked up until his passing. Dave was planning on retiring in November once he turned 62.

Dave will be remembered by everyone who knew him as being very generous. He loved spending time and having fun with his family and friends including Friday Night Poker, Thursdays at the Connecticut Valley Auto Auction, deep sea fishing, hunting trips, especially moose hunting in Maine, going out to dinner, car shows, going on vacations, including going on cruises and fishing derby's with his grandkids.

Dave was predeceased by his daughter, the late Lesley Ring, in 2007.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Brunelle Ring of White River Jct.; daughter Samantha Ring of Enfield, NH and son Tyler Ring of White River Jct.; grandchildren Sydney Hoyt-Ring, Julie Giguere, Alix Speckert-Ring, niece Sarah Brunelle. Dave had many close friends and family including Leah Lucas and her two kids Paige and Cole, Jennifer Speckert, Paul Brunelle, Linda and Bob Tuck, Fran Casale, Peanut and Vicki Gray, Charlie Bruce, Doug Tuthill, Tommy Cook, all of his Tip Top Tire family and his fishing and hunting buddies.

Visiting hours will be held at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct. Tuesday April 22nd from 2-4PM and 6-8PM. A funeral service will be held at the Greater Hartford United Church of Christ on Wednesday April 23rd at 11AM. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery in Norwich.
