Mrs. Barron passed away April 18, 2012, at The Heights in Tyler.
She was born Aug. 2, 1931, in Tyler to William M. and Ethel Irene Stegall Burton.
Barbara was a graduate of Tyler High School in 1948 and played in the band and the Tyler City Orchestra. She worked for Bryant Heaters and Frost Master Refrigeration, which later became Carrier Corp. for 33 years. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her loving family including her husband of 48 years, Charles Barron of Bullard; brother, Mike Burton of Tyler; and by her brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Mike Burton, Keith Bailey, Paul Ward, Randy Beard, Mike McCraw and Tony Way.
Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway, in Tyler.
