Gordon John Bray, 58, died unexpectedly on Feb. 6, 2014.
Gordon was born in Yreka on April 11, 1955, to Gordon J. and Nancy Joan (Wells) Bray. After he graduated from Yreka High School in 1973, he served four years in the United States Navy.
Gordon married Susan Marie Cabitto on Feb. 20, 1982. They raised their two sons, Ryan and Caleb, in Yreka. Gordon was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed camping, gardening, woodworking, his dogs and a good duck blind. He was proud of his Siskiyou County family heritage and adored his children and grandchildren.
Gordon is survived by his wife Susan; sons Ryan (Shannon) and Caleb (Jaime); grandchildren Rylee and Clayton; sisters June Madden (Don) and Jo Ann Eastlick (Randy); brothers-in-law Rick Cabitto (Pam) and Tim Cabitto (Linda). Other survivors include his aunt Patty Bray and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
