A Celebration of Life will be held for Cynthia Ann Rose, who passed peacefully on February 17th at OHSU in Portland due to a lengthy battle with COPD and congestive heart failure. Cindy was born in the Sacramento area, moved to Silverton with her first husband, and lived the last 7 1/2 years with her second husband in Portland.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald, of Portland; her father and stepmother, Gary and Barbara Rose, of Silverton; a sister, Teresa, of Boring; a son, David Gillett, of Moses Lake, WA; a daughter, Lisa Gillett, of Meridian, ID; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. Preceding her in death were her first husband, Rick Gillett; her mother, Lawana; and her brother, Bob Rose.

The Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 15th, at the Central Christian Church, located at 1844 SE 39th (Cesar Chavez) Avenue in Portland. It has been suggested that any donations be made to the church in lieu of flowers.
