Rites Held For Iva Exline Razor
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, July 9, at 2 p.m. at the Anita Church of Christ for Iva Grinstead Razor; 56. Brother Gordon Quitt officiated. Mrs. Phil McCosh accompanied Mrs. Harold Smith as she sang "Old Rugged Cross" and "Beyond the Sunset." Taking care of flowers were Gladys Carlson and Mrs. Gerald Wilson.
Casket bearers were Rueben Scott, Floyd Dement, Albert Karns Sr., Hans Moelck and Don Pollock. Interment was in Anita Evergreen cemetery.
Iva Rosella Exline Razor, 56, daughter of Fred Exline and the late Cora Henderson Exline, was born Feb. 13, 1913, at Anita and passed away Sunday afternoon, July 6, at 3 p.m. at Baton Rouge, La., where she had lived the past few years.
She had been in ill health a number of years with a heart ailment. She grew to girlhood in Anita and attended the Anita schools. As a young girl she was baptized in the Anita Church of Christ.
On May 19, 1931, she was united in marriage to Theodore Grinstead. They resided in Anita several years later they moved to Council Bluffs. Mr. Grinstead passed away in 1957. She was married later to James Razor and they lived in Louisiana. He died in 1967.
She is survived by four sons, Jerry Allen Grinstead of Papillion, Nebr., Ivan of Knoxville, Richard at home and Nicholas of Port Allen, La.; five daughters, Mrs. Robert (Cleo Maxine) Hansen of Zearing, Mrs. Cecil (Gwendolyn) Jones and Mrs. Emmett (Sharon) Vancel of Baton Rouge, La., Mrs. George (Mary Jo) Williams and Mrs. Frank (Coralee) Hanks of Norwood, Mo.; 24 grandchildren, her father, Fred Exline of Anita, and a brother Elmo Exline of Des Moines. Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by her mother.
The body was flown back to Omaha Monday evening.
