Lola Virginia Warnock, age 86, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Lakeside Senior Living. Mrs. Warnock was born on January 21, 1934 in Coffee County, Georgia the daughter of the late John Wesley Johnson and Mary Katherine Mercier Johnson.

Mrs. Warnock worked as a bookkeeper with Griffin Warehouse and was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church, Douglas, GA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Warnie Wilson, two sisters, Laura Lambert and Geneva Giger and one brother, Ken Johnson.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Charles Warnock Jr. of Douglas, GA; step- son, Charles Warnock III (Debbie) of Chatham, VA; two nieces, Diana Johnson and Brenda Mullis; two nephews, Errol Johnson and Bobby Lambert (Mary).

Funeral services were held on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at 3:00pm at First Baptist Church of Douglas with Dr. Don Hattaway officiating. Entombment will be at the Sparks Mausoleum, Douglas City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to; First Baptist Church 124 Gaskins Ave. Douglas, GA 31533 or the charity of your choice.
