Mrs. Golden was a native and lifelong resident of Cleburne County and attended Bible Baptist Church in Oxford. She loved gardening and growing flowers.
Mrs. Golden was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Golden, Jr.; a daughter, Betty Louise Elkins-Warren; her parents, Solomon and Minnie Owens; a granddaughter, Barbara Jean Elkins; two grandsons, William Edward McCall and David Trantham; two great grandsons, Holden Gene Champion and Damon DeWayne Champion; a great-great granddaughter, Caroline Brown; and 26 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include six daughters and three sons-in-law, Bobbie (Joey) Roberson, Oxford, AL, Bernice (Bill) Cofield, Beatrice McClenton, and Brenda Kitchens, all of Heflin, AL, Becky Jennings, Anniston, AL, and Bonnie (William) Payne, Heflin, AL.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 28, 2020, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Drummond and Rev. William Payne, officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Roberson, Jr., Mark Roberson, Justin Roberson, Keith Golden, Paul Singleton, Shawn Collier, Doug Smith, and Wesley Cofield.
Burial will follow in Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 27, 2020, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
