JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Leslie C. Cochran, 88, Jacksonville, died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2000, at a Gainesville, Fla., hospital.
Mr. Cochran served in the Army. He served in the European Theater of Operation during World War II, and also was a veteran of the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
Survivors include a son, Ron Cochran, Manhattan, Kan.; a daughter, Margaret Wilson, Phenix City, Ala.; his caretaker of many years, Beulah O'Neal; and five grandsons.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City. Burial with full military honors will be in Reeltown, Ala., Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Assocation, and sent in care of Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home in Manhattan.
