GEORGE HAVRILLA
HOBART- George Havrilla, 84, 105 N. Pennsylvania, Hobart, died Thursday in Gary Methodist hospital.
Havrilla had resided in Hobart for 47 years. He was an employee in the maintenance department of the Gary Sheet and Tin Mill. He was a member of the Gary Elks lodge 1152.
Surviving besides the widow, Leila, are two stepdaughters, Mrs. Shirley Palmi, Valparaiso and Mrs. Jacqueline Werner, Hobart; five brothers, Nichols, Boulder City, Nev., Michael, Alhambra, Calif., William, Glendale, Calif., Fred, Sanger,, Calif., and Peter, Gary; and two sisters, Mrs. Ann Hutchinson, Pasadena, Calif., and Mrs. Mary Wrick, Hobart.
Services will be held at 1:30 Saturday at Pflughoeft's Funeral home with the Rev. Percy Thomas, first Christian church Valparaiso officiating. Burial will be in McCool cemetery.
