Mrs. Beitzel, nee Mary Gauthier, was born in Two Rivers on Feb. 14, 1861, a daughter of the late Louis and Etta Belrose Gauthier, who immigrated to Two Rivers from the province of Quebec, Canada, more than a century ago. She was married 58 years ago to Joseph Beitzel, at Two Rivers, who died seven years later. For many years she made her home with her brother. Antoine Gauthier, retired lighthouse keeper, now a resident at the Odd Fellows Home at Green Bay.
Besides the brother, she leaves a number of nieces and nephews in Two Rivers.
Friends may call at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 7:45 p.m. Monday.
