Mrs. Mary Beitzel of Two Rivers, 56, widow of Michael Beitzel, died early yesterday afternoon at the Two Rivers municipal hospital where she had been a patient since Wednesday. She had been in failing health for several months.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning in Two Rivers at 8:30 o'clock from the Jansky funeral home and at 9 o'clock from the St. Luke's Catholic church with the Very Rev. C.V. Hugo officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in Calvary cemetery in that city.
Mrs. Beitzel, nee Mary Neumann, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Neumann, was born in St. Joseph, Missouri and came to Two Rivers with her parents 55 years ago. On April 15, 1902 she married Michael Beitzel, who died several years ago.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Clara Gillig of Milwaukee and Mary and Bernice, at home; four sons, Edward of Two Rivers and Clement, Joseph and George at home; one sister, Mrs. John Hoffman of Barron, Wis.; three brothers, Phillip Neumann of Two Rivers, Joseph of Lexington, Neb., and Jule of Kewaunee; and six grandchildren.
Mrs. Beitzel was an active member of the Altar society of St. Luke's church.
