Margaret Cherry, 79, of Ridgecrest Retirement Village, Davenport, died Saturday at Franciscan Medical Center, Rock Island.
Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Knox-Larson Funeral Home, Rock Island. Burial is at Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Memorials may be made to her church, First United Methodist, Rock Island.
Margaret Roberts was born May 8, 1907, in Smith Center, Kan. She married Norman B. Cherry June 25, 1928. He died in 1980.
Mrs. Cherry was a member of the Ruth Circle of her church, First United Methodist; and a member of the Faith Circle of King's Daughters. She was a 50-year member of the Order of The Eastern Star, Aledo, No. 126. She was a former president of Cleaveland Home Board.
Survivors include daughters, Marilyn Amrhein, East Moline, and Virginia Rattin, Bourbonnais, Ill.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Holbrook, Lincoln, Neb.
