CUMBERLAND- Diane Jean Morgan, 60, of Cumberland went to be with the Lord on April 18, 2014 at the WMHS-RMC.
Born on May 4, 1953, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Virginia (Parrish) Athey and Earl D Athey.
She was also preceded in death by her brother David Athey.
Diane was a member of the Living Stone Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed bowling on the Friday night Del's League, camping, fishing, picnics and spending time outdoors. Above all, she loved to be with her family and grandchildren and having family get-togethers.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Surviving are her husband of 33 years George Morgan; her daughter Stephanie Wiseman and husband Mark; her son Ryan Morgan; two sisters Joan Tovirac and Sharon Athey; two brothers Charles Athey and wife Kelly and Michael Athey; two grandchildren Landen Sweitzer and Abram Wiseman. Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home P.A. (www.scarpellifh.com) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Living Stone Church of the Brethren on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Friends will be received at the church one-hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Terry Morgan, Will Morgan, Andy Morgan, Corey Farris, Dan Ryan and Ernie Riley.
