MONSON- Kenneth Malcolm "Mickey" Stone Sr., 77, died April 19, 2014, at his home in Monson. He was born November 9, 1936, in Parkman, the son of Frank and Thelma (Stevens) Stone.

He was a self-employed truck driver for many years, and enjoyed hunting and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Betty (Degerstrom) Stone of Monson; a son, Kenneth Stone Jr. and his wife, Deirdre of Monson and their children Malcolm and Maddelynne; 2 step-grandchildren, Alyce and Quinton of Buckfield; 4 sisters, Althea Young, Evelyn Preble, Violet Noyes, and Gloria Spinney; and a sister-in-law, Rita Stone. He will also be missed by his "morning coffee club".

A memorial service will be held 1 PM, Friday, April 25, 2014, at the Monson Community Church, with Pastor David Ray Jr. officiating.

Those who wish may make donations in his memory to the Monson Community Church.
