Funeral for Verna Lee Jeffreys Campbell Craig, 79 of Town Creek will be Thursday, September 12, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with Josh Howard, Dr. Allen Ray Jeffreys, Sam Holliday and Matthew Kamper officiating. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Craig, who died Monday, September 9, 2013, at Helen Keller Hospital,was born October 16, 1933 in Lawrence County to Travis Jeffreys and Hazel Dawn Parker Jeffreys. She retired as an Officer Manager from Lawrence Medical Center. She was a member of Sanderson Chapel Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Ellis Campbell, son-in-law, Gary Oliver, Stepson Carlie "Gene" Craig Jr. and two brothers, Norman Jeffreys and Gary Jeffreys.

Survivors include her husband, Carlie Craig Sr. of Hatton; one son, Michael Campbell of Hatton; two daughters, Judy Oliver of Hatton and Debra Monk (Phillip) of Hartselle; two stepdaughters Susan Mruk (Richard) of Hatton and Kathye Kamper (Tom) of Mobile; two brothers, Allen Ray Jeffreys of Decatur and Raymond Hayes Jeffreys of Florence; one sister Helen Jeanet Jeffreys Taylor of Hatton, nine grandchildren, eight step grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and nine step great-children.

Pallbearers will be Brennon Johnson, Brandon Oliver, Shawn Oliver, Josh LouAllen, Matthew Kamper and Corey Cameron.
