Lloyd J. Smith of West Bend died Friday, April 7, 2000 in West Bend at the age of 72.
He was born May 19, 1927 in Kewaskum to the late Roman and Catherine (nee Eischele) Smith and married Norma A. Wendtlandt on June 25, 1949 at Holy Angels Catholic Church. Lloyd worked at the West Bend Company for 49 years.
Survivors include his wife Norma; three children, Karen (Michael) Spelleter of Phoenix, Ariz., Gary of Eden, and Susan Smith of West Bend; six grandchildren, Mike Smith, Elizabeth and Daniel Izzo, and Alex, Michelle and Matthew Spelleter. He is further survived by a brother, Armond (Betty) Smith, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be Monday, April 10, 2000 at the Schmidt Funeral Home, West Bend. Private funeral services will be held. Burial will be in Washington County Memorial Park.
