‎ ‎ ‎ Entered into rest on Saturday, June 20, 2009. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Riverside Memorial Park. Friends and family are invited to join her children at the gravesite.
‎ ‎ ‎ She was born on May 21, 1914 in Ritzville, WA where she later graduated from high school. Margaret married Edward C. Franson (Ed) on June 6, 1934. They had five children and farmed northwest of Spokane. Margaret became one of the last living pioneers in her area. Ed preceded her in death in 1977.
‎ ‎ ‎ She is survived by her children: Gerald Franson, Spokane, WA Delnora Brockmier (Boyd), Spokane Valley, WA Herbert Franson (Carol), Spokane, WA, Marjorie Avery (Rea), Ocean Shores, WA, Carol Cross (Jerry) Youcalla, OR; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
‎ ‎ ‎ Margaret enjoyed crafts and crocheting and many of her creations are with family members today. She loved to share her newest creation with her visitors.
‎ ‎ ‎ The family wishes to thank Rae Ann and Bruce Scott of Little River Care Center for their loving care Margaret received the last year of her life. Also a special thank you to Horizon Hospice.
